The series takes place 225 years after the events of The Legend of Korra. The planet was devastated by an apocalyptic cataclysm that nearly wiped out civilization, forcing humanity to survive inside the Seven Havens—the last remaining strongholds of hope.
The new Avatar is named Pavi, a young Earthbender. But there’s a twist: Pavi has a twin sister—Nisha—with whom she shares a mysterious connection.
The Avatar is no longer a hero. In this chaotic era, the Avatar isn’t celebrated as a savior. Instead, she’s feared and viewed as a potential threat. Hunted by humans and Spirits alike, Pavi must fight to uncover her origin story and protect what’s left of the world.
Joining the two sisters is the young Airbender Jae, alongside iconic animal companions (Geet and Ruhi) voiced by the legendary Dee Bradley Baker.
Artistically influenced by legendary surrealist comic artist Mœbius and classic 90s anime, the series promises breathtaking landscapes, glowing crystals, and an epic score composed by master Jeremy Zuckerman.
Book 1 will consist of 13 episodes and premieres on October 9th, 2026, on Paramount+, releasing in batches throughout the month. Season 2 has already been confirmed!
