Ah, PAX. We already told you about it last year, but how did this year’s edition go?
Well, not bad actually; not good but not bad. Let me explain.
Although there were many exhibitors and a lot of public turn-out, the reception was lukewarm. There were quite a few new proposals for TTRPGs. Instead, there were few proposals for famous and long-established game systems. To be honest, there was no shortage of expenses on our part ; we grabbed some nice books for 5e, Mörk Borg and Vast Grimm.

The section dedicated to Indie video games and small companies is growing. Giving space to small, brave developers only makes us happy.
We took part in several games and campaigns and all of them surprised us. From Commander games organized with those who passed by, to one-shots of the classic DND passing through the various indie demos and TTRPGs, we had fun like never before. The arcade and retro gaming corner was very much appreciated (even if for us the PS2 cannot be defined as “retro”, but we realize that we are getting old).
In the hope that PAX and its participants will continue to improve, we can only wish each other the best for next year.
