The panel for the second season of Pesci Piccoli was held at the Teatro Mediterraneo. The Jackal talked about what awaits us, showing us unreleased clips, revealing the presence of several cameos, and previewing the trailer:
Ciro Priello:
“Working on digital for years, we have accumulated good and bad experiences that we have inserted into this cultural baggage ; we decided to put all these things that we have lived in the story. We have always inserted cameos, allowing the characters to be able to tell their stories in another version of themselves. My character has a world inside himself ; this mask that he wears in the office will become so heavy. This season is the highest production level and the highest they have ever done as The Jackal”.

Francesco Ebbasta (director):
“We had fun delving into all their characters. All the projects I have done have never had a second season ; now we find ourselves in a universe of 14 episodes. It is my “first second time”. The animated form will also return later in the series. We are obsessed with a writing model in which each scene must be functional to the next and nothing is left to chance. In the series, there are many guests but they all have an important role ; we also worked with the maestro Vessicchio, one of the best we have collaborated with”.
Martina Tinnirello:
“I made my debut with The Jackal and I was very nervous having done almost nothing. I felt very welcomed ; everyone contributes to the writing of the screenplay and never says no to an idea but proposes alternatives to bring that idea to the screen”.
Fabio Balsamo:
“In this season, we will go deep into the characters. On the one hand, we put our experiences at the service of the character. Laughter is never an end in itself. The market wants drama and comedy to be divided. In reality, we experience sad moments that then maybe lead to laughter, so sometimes one aspect is part of the other… The use of feelings must be realistic, otherwise the audience notices ; it takes emotional honesty in drawing from one’s personal experience. The tough job is to bridge the gap between what you really are and what you have to represent”.
Gianluca ‘Fru’ Colucci:
“All the characters are inspired by us, but it’s not a documentary ; it’s a series in which the characters go through a journey. The second seasons give you the chance to enter their lives and there’s a pinch more drama. There will be a lot more crying this season ; I would say it’s 50% drama”.
Aurora Leone:
“In my life I organize aperitifs and parties, doing this so that they have fun. In the series, my character says: “The truth is that I organize parties for others for fear that if I don’t organize them, others won’t love me”. The happy ending doesn’t have to be something positive, but also an opportunity to learn. I’ll tell you in advance that a special episode inspired by Melevisione will be featuring Danilo Bertazzi (a.k.a. Tonio Cartonio)”.
