Caffè Nerdiano returns to Lucca Comics and Games (@luccacomicsandgames) and as a first treat we tell you about an extremely interesting project by Panini in collaboration with Disney.
For the occasion, Dario Moccia, directly from the packed Auditorium San Francesco, presented the Disney Anthology collectible cards.
The box format will be that of a “treasure box” with slots and the checklist composed of identical cards except on which will have the seven signatures of the Disney Ambassadors (classic Disney characters). The box will have six packs of cards (with 18 specials inside – some regular, and others rainbow gold). There will be rarer and special cards, such as the “medallion card”, the “memorabilia card”, the “signature card”, the “badge card”, the “frame card” and the “sketch card” (the rarest).
There will be different versions of the cards based on their rarity (aluminum, zinc, gold) depicting Disney characters in different poses and actions, with the artwork COMPLETELY done by Italian artists.
We would also like to point out that all the prints will be in English and in limited numbers, some cards will in fact have no more than 150 copies.
Many cards also portray moments inspired by old Disney shorts, with the aim of bringing back to mind those historical moments that saw classic Disney characters as protagonists (Donald Duck, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Minnie, etc.)
During the conference, it was then clarified that there will also be other news related to this project that have not yet been revealed.
