Let’s talk a little about Sacrifice: a nice game system created by Mattia Ceniti (@matt_aster). We participated in one of the very first tables during Lucca Comics & Games and we had the great Matteo Tosoni (@__toso_) as a master (unluckily for him he had us as a party). All the guys from Garfaludica (@garfaludica) were there to master the 6 tables.
Unthinkable names, murderous and murdered doll (we tried, but in the end, it was just very mutilated) and incredible luck made us beat the poor master. Few rolls and a lot of role-playing.
A really nice and balanced rulebook. In the game, a full set of dice is used while the master has a full set, tokens, and a (let’s say) special d6. Look at the logo and you’ll understand. For now, I won’t tell you anything else about the rulebook; you’ll have to wait for good old Matt to make it available to the public. Or wait for one of the evenings with those nice guys from Demons at Work (@demonsatwork) who we thank for having made available a small 12.6in dice thrower (and then they say that size doesn’t matter).
The game of the evening was a demonic house/escape room theme, but Sacrifice doesn’t necessarily have to be a horror setting. (Maybe we know something we can’t say at the moment). We enjoyed ourselves a lot and this will definitely be a game rule that we will use many, many evenings at our tables. Well, what more can we say?
