Japanese women, European fairy tales, and historical authors: What do these things have in common? Benjamin Lacombe (@benjaminlacombe). Today he held a panel with Valentina Ghetti (@vale.ghetti) where he spoke to us about his experiences, showing us the phases of his creative process from sketches to the finished product, from watercolors to oil paintings, and from references to works of art. It was not just a simple panel, but an experience. Lacombe revealed to us that another great influence on his style is 15th century Europe. With great joy and emotion he recalls how he first observed DaVinci in the halls of the Louvre. It is no coincidence that oil is Lacombe’s favorite technique. We are very anxious, but we have to wait to be able to start working on his next work “The Picture of Dorian Gray”.
