What if I told you that an all-Italian fantasy IP exists, and it is also well-done?! Impossible? No, it’s Fantaghirò, also known as The Cave of the Golden Rose. Some call it a series, others a film, but it doesn’t matter what you call it. A piece of our childhood that is finally available again after a long time. This newfound novelty was presented by Mauro Zingarelli (@maurozingarelli) and Claudio Di Biaggio (@claudiodibiagio) in a show case where they told us a couple of behind-the-scenes stories and curiosities about the series. It must be said that sometimes the audience was more prepared than the presenters, but we forgive them for that. Re-watching some scenes, we were projected back to our own childhoods. And we were surprised to see so much modernity of thought in such an “old” product. The choices of narration on screen are the result of the grand mastery of Lamberto Bava, who still remains a master.
