With this film, the seventh chapter of the epic that began with Spielberg’s first historic film in 93′ and then continued over the years with ups and downs, director Gareth Edwards promises (or at least tries) to bring the franchise back to its early splendor with visuals, themes and references that are faithful to the very first chapter with even (it is said) scenes taken directly from the pages of Michael Crichton’s novel.

Jurassic World Rebirth/Universal Pictures

This mission is extremely ambitious and not exactly easy given the less than excellent reaction of the public to the latest trilogy named Jurassic World that ended just over two years ago, which between nostalgia and poorly developed ideas did not satisfy most fans.

It will now be up to Edwards and David Koepp (screenwriter of the first two JPs who returned to the saddle for the occasion) with his cast led by Scarlett Johansson to present a story worthy of this franchise.

Because sometimes “cool dinosaurs” aren’t enough… in the meantime, the trailer seems promising, we’ll see.
