Doctor Who is dead and the BBC killed it.
After the last disastrous season, the rumors of cancellation are getting louder, so much so that the BBC itself had to intervene to deny everything, only to then almost confirm a break of 5 years…
Leakers tell us about a disastrous situation. After a long silence, Ncuti himself (15th Doctor) admits to having left the show after only two seasons. His (alleged) statements add a look at the bigger picture: he doesn’t want to be tied to the show, and still being the Doctor would have been a hindrance to other future plans.
It seems that the new direction is leading the show to be even more political and preachy, definitely abandoning what were its very roots.
We ourselves a little while ago were shouting about a miracle, about the return of the Doctor, but to be honest, we were just deluding ourselves. It was a hope, a desire to believe.
