I have to admit, I’ve never been a big fan of the game series, also because I’ve never played it. It so happens that a couple of weeks ago at the cinema, I came across the trailer of the series among the ads ; it intrigued me and I wrote it down among the things to look up, only to then forget about it. Two days ago, I came across an ad of the series again and I decided to take a look. After having sucked it all in one sitting, the only thing that comes to mind is “why didn’t I remember before?”

As said before, being one of the perhaps few who hasn’t played the series, I have a particular point of view. The series is excellent with believable characters, an engaging story, and incredible visuals.

Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean is simply wonderful. You immediately become attached to her and want her to succeed, even if she makes mistakes continuously. She is humane, brave, and nice.

Cooper Howard, played by Walton Goggins, is the narrative bridge between past and present. Coop is a character between two times and two very different roles that are masterfully played by Goggins.

Aaron Moten wears a T-60 and plays Maximus, the introvert protagonist of the trio. He draws you into his story and is likeable.

Digging a little, I discovered that Todd Howard (game designer) was involved in the project from the first steps, which is surprising but explains why the series was so successful. The series becomes in fact another narrative piece in the macrocosm of Fallout.

Jonathan Nolan (executive producer and director) immediately formed a good friendship with Todd and this bond allowed them to bring this magnificent product to the screen.

If you haven’t already understood, we recommend it.
